Black Black Black
Saturday night was supposed to be spent at the Zabiela gig over at A Venue. Unfortunately, Mr Tentativa (who had our tickets) had gone 35 hours without any sleep and conked out on us a little after midnight, lol (we were already at the venue when we realized this).
And so we headed to hipster central aka Cubao X.
Regular black leggings, F21 white tank, black thrifted dress, chain belt from ebay, and Rusty Lopez heels. Yay.
Summer in the City
I need to go shopping for sun-friendly clothes. I’m not too hot about wearing mini skirts or shorts to work because I’ll end up freezing so I’m thinking long flowy skirts and tank tops. That’s never really been my style, though.
Boo, I’m Here
Hello hello, I’ve been MIA. I haven’t been shopping much lately, Flickr has been keeping me busy, and my daily outfit pictures never make it online.
Anyway, I met up with Lauren yesterday (Sunday) to go thrifting (she had to buy stuff for her online store). Philippine summer heat has become too unbearable but I just love this man’s shirt too damn much that I still went ahead and wore it. Paired it with a denim mini and my mom’s green flats and yay, instant laid-back summer night outfit.
My bead bracelet fell and broke, though. And yes, my Third World apartment is a mess. My shoes, my brother’s shoes, our flipflops are everywhere.
After shopping, Lauren and I went to Eastwood Mall for Red Mango yogurt. I already had been to Red Mango earlier that day (blueberries and chocolate chip toppings, yum) but seriously, in this heat, frozen yogurt is the perfect healthy treat.
I got strawberries with chocolate pebbles while Lauren got kiwi and blueberry toppings. Nom.

Sometimes, It’s Better To Ditch The Bra
Went to Embassy tonight for Fabric’s fashion show/Code Limited’s pre-launch. I wasn’t really in the mood for anything and I was already set on heading home right after work to spend the night on Flickr so I was horribly under-dressed for the event in my jeans, flats, and pink babydoll top (LAZY THURSDAY WORK CLOTHES, FTL).
I couldn’t take any good pictures of the show because there was a handful of tall dudes in front of me. What I was able to take a good look AND photo of, though, was this:

It’s Starting To Feel Like The Tropics Again
Note to self: these 3-inch heels are not for walking around the very uneven streets of Ortigas Center.
